Since the category’s inception, Changi has topped the T+L World’s Best Awards list for eight years running, but the international hub hasn’t been resting on its laurels. The enormous standalone Jewel Changi Airport complex opened in April 2019, adding even more glitz to this first-rate airport. Even residents take day excursions to the airport for entertainment because to Jewel’s indoor waterfall, kids’ playgrounds, street food sellers, and a variety of stores, which is great praise by any measure. There was plenty else for voters to celebrate. One reader said, “I could have had a vacation in the airport alone.” Another person said, “I had a lengthy stopover and half of it was spent visiting the airport as well as the city. It’s the nicest airport I’ve ever been to. The meal variety is fantastic, and it is really gorgeous. For the 25th consecutive year, Singapore Airlines, which has a significant presence at Changi, was the top international airline. Singapore seems to do everything right when it comes to air travel.
