4. Foot spread

The dispersion of food could aid in the foot’s expansion to its normal breadth. To apply this method of foot massage:
- hold each side of the foot
- pull each side of the foot outward
- repeat this motion, allowing the foot to spread
5. Heel squeeze

The back of the foot may feel less tense after a heel squeeze. To apply this method:
- one hand holding the top of the foot
- grasp the heel’s back in the other
- press and release the heel’s back repeatedly
6. Knuckle or fist work

The bottom of the foot can be massaged using knuckle or fist work. To apply this method:
- one hand holding the rear of the foot
- grasp the other hand’s knuckles or a complete fist against the bottom of the foot
- apply gentle pressure while massaging the bottom of the foot with the knuckle or fist
- repeat this action, moving from the heel to the ball of the foot
